So, cutting t the chase, in this article we will talk about finding the colors that will best suit your skin tone.
God has created everyone differently. With different body shape, size and skin color. One thing that should be taken into consideration that everyone is beautiful in its own way but what looks good one individual may not look good on another. Exclusivity is the key.
So, let’s fist discuss that how can one find what their skin tone is.
An undertone is usually the color or the complexion of the skin. Most of the people around globe fall under three categories of undertone which are cool, warm and neutral. By knowing or figuring out what your undertone is, you can best find out what color will suit on your particular skin color.
How to find undertone?
Stand in front of a mirror and observe closely that which color stands out the most in your skin. Is it warm tone like yellow, peach or gold or is it cool tone like oink or red undertone.
Look at your wrist and watch your veins. If you have blue or purple veins it means that you have cool tones and if you see green veins it means you lie in the warm tone region.
If your tone lies somewhere in the middle of cool and warm, then you are probably neutral toned.
Which color will go with your skin tone?
Very Fair tone
For people who clear and fair skin, they can rock any dress which is in neutral or pastel shade. Lilac, corals, beige, white, off white are all such colors which will look stunning on very fair skin tone.
Fair tone
Now if you are not that fair but you still lie on the edge of being fair, then colors like peach, blush pink, lavender, mint green or even soft yellow will look really amazing.
Medium Tone
So, most of the Asian tone lies under this category. Usually every color goes well with medium skin tone but the colors that enhances the beauty of the medium skin tones are mustard, red, olive, purple, blue and pink.
Dark Tones
Usually dark tones girls are reluctant of wearing light colors but that is where they go wrong. Having a dark skin tone does not mean that these girls cannot wear certain colors which are either too bright or too neutral.
These girls can experiment with any color they want but some of the colors that goes well with such skin tone are plum, ruby, white, peach and pink.
Always keep in mind that every skin tone has its own beauty and no skin tone is inferior or superior to other. Just remember one thing that everyone is beautiful in their own special way!!!
