Old Trends that are back into the world of fashion
Fashion works like a cycle, Trends that were old once have found their way back in the world of fashion. It's no fortuitous event that styles like nets, Patiala shalwars, bell bottoms, long shirts that were famous decades ago have now, by and by, penetrated the trend-driven landscape of the present youth. This is the reason you ought to never discard your favorite pieces. On the off chance that they fit and compliment you yet have gone out of style , store them away in a box or a case in the back of your storage room for a couple of years, and they very well might make a style rebound. In 80’s, the fashion was bold. Women preferred bold clothing e.g. loose shirts, fitted and tight trousers. Many individuals were tremendously captivated by the padded sleeves, to give an expansive touch. Same is the case today, you can see women wearing shirts or sweaters with padded sleeves to give a broad touch and no doubt, THEY LOOK ABSOLUTELY ALURRING! And then in the late 80’s Patiala shalwar and choori daar pajama were in fashion similarly again these days, you can see women rocking in their medium length shirts with Patiala shalwar. In 90’s, women wore anything they loved to. Everything that they wore became THE TREND. Shirts were longer and included panels and flares. Basically, it was a world of EXTRAVAGANCE. Every design was used to decorate the shirts and shalwar and no doubt, the beauty was there!
Let’s talk about some trends that really are worth talking about.
Ghararas. Especially in the summer heat. The trend of ghararas and shararas kicked every trend out of their way. These beauties with short shirts add so much charm to the overall look even for wedding looks.
Wide leg pants. These wide leg pants also became a thing a few years back. There were many numerous variants of these ‘pants’ such as cigarette pants were so much in trend for a while. Wide leg pants are still in fashion and look so EXTRA COOL and old school but in a modern way.
Shalwars. Shalwars made a snappy rebound a couple of years back as the ‘VERY STYLISH’. In 90’s women usually wore shalwars with kurta, which usually had the SAME print and color of the kurta but now that’s changed a little or we have seen our mothers wearing Shalwars when we were kids. Shalwars are a part of the larger trend that embodies ‘old world charm’. They are a token of an older time, yet they are something that can be very modern. Now, Shalwars are not stitched plain but they are printed or beautifully decorated with motis and they are not back in their original form but they’ve come back better.
Most of the fashion trends in 1980’s and 90’s are again into fashion these days. Significantly after so many years these trends if not everything except rather the most of them are seeping into fashion. It sounds somewhat interesting yet at the same time like in numerous different cases, HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF.
